About the Innovation for Society Division.
The Innovation for Society Division is a think tank within DENTSU SOKEN INC., established to embody the group’s vision:

We conduct research and studies that contribute to the evolution of society, while also sharing insights and proposals aimed at addressing societal and individual challenges.

Quality of Society Center: Observing the Present and Future of Society
We conduct and publish quantitative surveys such as the “DENTSU SOKEN Compass” and the “Quality of Society Index.” In addition, we operate the Future Impact Forum, a knowledge community where experts from diverse fields and professions come together to envision the future. Through these activities, we seek the “switches” that move people’s hearts and inspire behavioral change.
Open Innovation Lab: Shaping the Future with Technology
In collaboration with companies and research institutions, we develop and share prototypes aimed at solving social issues. Our initiatives include exploring use cases for building a trustworthy digital society using Trusted Web, and researching remote robotic work to address labor shortages.
Collaboration with FINOLAB: At the Forefront of Financial Innovation
We partner with FINOLAB, Japan’s first FinTech hub established in 2016, to support the creation of next-generation businesses. Our contributions include publishing the DENTSU SOKEN Humanology FinTech Insights, which highlights key FinTech topics, and supporting the publication of the Japan Financial Innovation Annual Report, edited by FINOLAB.
